Vigil for Survival in Halifax

Around 150 people gathered in Halifax, Nova Scotia for a powerful candlelit vigil and interfaith service, in spite of temperatures approaching -20 c with the windchill. We were pleased to welcome MLA for the New Democratic Party Leonard Preyra, who came representing the Premier of Nova Scotia, city councilor Jennifer Watts, and Member of Parliament Megan Leslie. Demos Mondays Robie and Quinpool

It's not over!

Join us holding signs at WIllow Tree Corner urging government to act on climate change at Copenhagen talks. A groundswell movement to get parliament to pass bill C-311.

We are meeting at Robie and Quinpool every Monday from 4-6 until Dec 14. Bring your own sign or we have some! The more noise we make, the more people will get on board!
